Railway Recruitment Board of India is conducting the RRB ALP Examination. The Computer Based Test of 2nd Stage will be organized soon after the results are announced. The CBT 2 examination will be conducted in the month of December 2018. Exam Pattern
The CBT 2 Examination is going to be conducted online. The detailed exam pattern is as follows.
Part A:

The examination mode will be online.

In total there will be 100 questions to attempt. The candidates must attempt all the questions.

90 minutes time will be allotted to the candidate to complete the examination.

All the questions will be Multiple Choice questions to be answered while choosing the correct answer.

The candidates will be asked questions from Mathematics subject.

Also, the questions from General intelligence will be covered.
-
Reasoning and Basic Science and Engineering questions are also a part of subjects from which the questions are asked.

The examination is a shortlisting type of examination.

The candidate must score according to the Qualifying marks required for the next level selection.
Part B:

This exam will also be in online mode only.

Though the questions are of a Descriptive type. 75 Questions will be asked for the examination.

The examination is Qualifying in nature.

The candidates who qualify the exam will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in Part A.

The examination must be completed in 60 minutes.

The candidates will be asked questions based on the exam trade chosen by them.

All the candidates must score a minimum of 35% marks.
Syllabus
Exam Syllabus for the Part A includes:
Mathematics: Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, etc.
General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, etc.
Basic Science and Engineering: The broad topics that are covered under this shall be Engineering Drawing (Projections, Views, Drawing Instruments, Lines, Geometric figures, Symbolic Representation), Units, Measurements, Mass Weight and Density, Work Power and Energy, Speed and Velocity, etc.
General Awareness on Current Affairs: in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.
Part B Syllabus will include specific Exam Trade Syllabus for each Exam Trade allotted for the examination.
